Trinity School for Children is applying to obtain an alternate occupancy calculation and total number of occupants for the Gymnasium and other Assembly Occupancies located in and around the proposed new Athletics and Arts Center. Please refer to the red marked notations on Sheets A1.1, A2.1, and A2.2. In order for this school project to remain feasible, (both with parking and plumbing fixtures), we need for the COT AHJ to agree that the Gym maximum occupancy will be no greater than 480 persons. Architectural Plans will call for the installation of "Maximum Occupancy of 480 Persons" signs at all entrances and exits from the Gym. You will also note that the number, placement, and size of the proposed exit doors from the Gym are well over the required minimums, hence Life Safety will not be compromised by your decision.
