We would like to ensure we can still have the linesets for the A2L equipment (R-32 refrigerant) running inside the mechanical closet, as they were supposed to be when we had R-410 equipment installed. That option is based on the current adopted FMC and ASHRAE 15, which allow refrigerant piping to penetrate floors, ceilings, and roofs without a shaft as long as the refrigerant quantity does not exceed the concentrations in Table 1103.1.
