The Tampa Airport management team is proposing to construct temporary utility trailers North of Taxiway A & east of Runway 1L-19R to facilitate long-term construction of the Airside D project. The total floor area of the trailers will amount to 51,830-sf. Power, potable water, and sanitary utility services will be provided for the trailers. Proposed design connects an 8" DIP water main to the existing HCAA 8" DIP water main. The proposed 8" PVC water main will feed 2" & 1" HDPE water lines to the trailers. Design to include (3) 3/4" hose connections, (1) fire hydrant, 150' of 1" HDPE, 760' of 2" HDPE, 675' of 8" PVC, 145' of 6" DIP, 10' of 1" copper potable water service, (1) 6" gate valve, (1) 8" gate valve with tapping sleeve, (1) 2" service saddle, (2) 1" service saddles, (3) RPZ backflow preventers, (1) 8"x6" reducer, and (1) above ground private meter assembly. There are (2) existing fire hydrants along North Hoover Blvd, that along with the new fire hydrant, will provide fire protection for the trailer complex.
